About Cue Rush

Cue Rush is a top-down pool game played as a three-minute score run. The table starts with fifteen balls racked in a triangle and the cue ball on the head spot. Press on the table, drag back from the cue ball to set the direction and power, and release to shoot. While you aim, a guide shows the cue ball's path, where it will meet the first object ball and the direction that ball will leave in.

There are no solids, stripes or turns to worry about: every ball you pocket is worth points. The first ball in a shot is worth 100, the second 200, the third 300 and so on, so sinking two or three in one stroke pays far more than picking them off one at a time. Consecutive scoring shots build a streak that multiplies your points up to double. A foul, meaning the cue ball drops into a pocket or fails to touch anything, costs ten seconds of the clock and resets the streak.

Clearing the table pays a bonus and racks a fresh set instantly, but each new table adds a modifier: a pillar in the middle of the felt, narrower pockets, then both at once. The clock never pauses, not even while balls are still rolling, so a fast, clean rhythm matters as much as accuracy. When time runs out, the score is final and goes to the leaderboard.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does one game of Cue Rush take?

Three minutes on the clock, plus a few seconds for the last balls to stop. Fouls subtract ten seconds each, so a sloppy run ends sooner.

Do I have to pocket solids or stripes in order?

No. There are no groups, no turns and no called shots. Every ball you sink counts, including the black eight ball, and the colours are only there to help you tell balls apart.

How is the score calculated?

Each ball pocketed in a shot is worth 100 points times its position in that shot: the first is 100, the second 200, the third 300. Consecutive scoring shots build a streak that multiplies those points, reaching double after four shots in a row. Clearing a table adds 1000 points times the table number.

What counts as a foul?

Two things: the cue ball dropping into a pocket, or a shot in which the cue ball touches no other ball. A foul costs ten seconds of the clock and resets your streak. Any balls you pocketed on that shot still count.

What changes when I clear a table?

You get a bonus and the balls are re-racked instantly. The second table has a pillar in the middle of the felt, the third has narrower pockets, and from the fourth table on both are in play at once.

Can I play Cue Rush on my phone?

Yes. On phones the table turns vertical so it fits the screen, and you aim by dragging with your finger exactly as you would with a mouse.
