How do I play games?
Browse our game catalog and click on any game to start playing. Games run directly in your browser — no downloads needed.
Do I need an account to play?
No! You can play all games without an account. However, signing in lets you save scores, track achievements, and appear on leaderboards.
How do I sign in?
Click 'Sign In' in the header and choose to sign in with Google or Discord. We use OAuth so we never see your password.
How are leaderboard scores calculated?
The global leaderboard shows each player's best score per game. Only your highest score counts — play as many times as you want!
What are achievements?
Achievements are milestones you unlock by playing. Visit the Achievements page to see all available achievements and your progress.
What are titles?
Titles are special badges you earn by unlocking achievements. You can equip titles on your profile to show them on leaderboards.
Can I change my avatar?
Yes! Go to your profile and click the pencil icon on your avatar to upload a new image.
How do I change my nickname?
Open your profile and click the Settings cog. The first time you sign in you'll also get a quick popup that lets you pick a nickname right away — you can always change it later. Nicknames are 3-30 characters, letters and numbers only, and power your public /players URL.
Why can't I see my email on my profile anymore?
Your email is private — we never show it on the profile header, leaderboard, or public player pages. You can still review it inside Settings, marked as Private. This protects you from scraping and keeps PixelDen friendlier and more anonymous.
How do I delete my account?
Open your profile → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete My Account. You'll be asked to type your nickname to confirm. Deletion is immediate: we remove your display name, email, avatar, XP, titles, streak, and daily challenge progress. Your past scores stay on the leaderboard as "Deleted User" so rankings don't break. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Why do I see "Deleted User" on the leaderboard?
That's a player who deleted their account. We anonymize their row but keep the score so rankings stay consistent for everyone else.
Can I recover a deleted account?
No. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Signing in again with the same Google or Discord creates a brand-new, empty profile.
What are Daily Challenges?
Every day you get 3 new challenges — things like 'Submit a score in Snake' or 'Play 3 different games.' Completing them earns bonus XP. Complete all 3 for an extra 50 XP bonus!
What is XP and how do I level up?
XP (experience points) is earned by playing games, submitting scores, completing daily challenges, and unlocking achievements. As you earn XP, your level increases — check your level and progress in the header or on your profile page.
The game isn't loading. What should I do?
Make sure JavaScript is enabled. Try refreshing the page or using a modern browser like Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. Games require WebGL support.
