Play PixelDen inside your AI chat

Connect once, then just ask for a game. Your assistant sets the scene, you make the calls, and the scores count.

What this is

PixelDen runs a small set of games designed to be played through conversation instead of a keyboard. Your assistant describes what is happening and hands you the choices. Everything that decides the outcome, from the dice to the final score, runs on the PixelDen servers, so the story can never talk its way past the rules.

Connect in three steps

  1. 1

    Copy the connection address

You will paste this into your assistant in the next step.

  2. 2

    Add it as a connector

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector, and paste the address. ChatGPT and other assistants have a similar screen, usually under connectors or integrations.

  3. 3

    Approve the connection

You will be sent back here to sign in and confirm. After that, ask your assistant to play a game and it will take it from there.

What you can play right now

Three games, all built for this format. Ask for one by name, or just say you want to play something and let the server pick.

  • Lantern Road12 decisions

A twelve-leg expedition down a dying road. Ration your supplies, gamble on wrecks and strangers, and try to arrive alive.

  • Ash Assizes3 decisions

Four suspects, one theft, and every honest witness saw the same face. Question as few of them as you dare, then name the culprit.

  • Salt Run8 decisions

Eight market days, one commodity, and a price that will not sit still. Buy the dips, sell the spikes, and walk away richer than you started.

  • Code Dash decisions

A one-button sprint through a glitching terminal: hop the code blocks, ride the rising speed, and bank distance. Played live in the widget.

Scores and your account

Runs are saved to the same leaderboard as the rest of PixelDen, under your account. You approve the connection yourself, and you can disconnect it from your assistant at any time. It can start and play games on your behalf, and nothing else.

Questions

Do I need to pay for anything?
No. The games are free, the same as everything else on PixelDen. You do need an AI assistant that supports custom connectors.
Which assistants work?
Anything that speaks the Model Context Protocol. That covers Claude on the web, desktop and mobile, ChatGPT, and a growing list of others. Terminal-only tools can play the games, but will show them as text rather than a board.
Do I need a PixelDen account?
Yes, because the whole point is that your runs count. You sign in with Google or Discord the same way you would on the site.
Can the assistant cheat on my behalf?
No, and this is the part we care most about. The assistant only narrates. Every roll, every consequence and every point is decided on our side, and it is only told what a player is allowed to know.
Can I still play the normal PixelDen games?
Of course. The catalog of arcade and puzzle games in your browser is unchanged. These chat games are a separate, smaller set built for a different way of playing.
How do I disconnect?
Remove the connector in your assistant's settings. That immediately cuts off its access to your account.
