About Flock Fold

Play Flock Fold online, a free pixel herding game that runs right in your browser with no download. You play the sheepdog. The sheep are not scripted dots: they flock like a real herd, drifting and grazing when you keep your distance, then breaking into a panicked run the moment you crowd them. Your job is to read that living mass and bend it toward the wooden pen.

The trick is pressure, not contact. Stand on the far side of the flock from the pen and they push away from you, straight toward the gate. Flank from side to side to keep the group tight. Crowd them too hard and they scatter, so you spend the next few seconds chasing strays back into the bunch. A sheep that dwells fully inside the pen for a moment locks in for good and cannot be knocked back out, so every clean capture is money in the bank.

Eight levels ramp the challenge one idea at a time: an open meadow to learn the feel, a pen tucked into the far corner, rocks to steer the flock around, stubborn black sheep that spook from twice the distance and cling less to the herd, two small pens to fill at once, and tougher fields with a prowling wolf and muddy ground. A sprint burst lets you cut off a runaway, and a sharp bark scatters a knot of sheep when you need to break them apart, though spam it and you will undo your own work. Pen several sheep within a heartbeat of each other to trigger a CLUSTER chain for bonus points. Quick rounds, a score worth chasing, and a herd that feels alive in your hands.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Flock Fold free to play?

Yes, Flock Fold is completely free. There is no payment and no sign-up needed. Open the page and start herding right away.

Can I play Flock Fold with no download?

Absolutely. Flock Fold runs instantly in your browser on desktop and mobile, with nothing to install, and it works unblocked at school or work too.

How do you herd the sheep?

The sheep flee from your dog, so you herd by pressure rather than by touching them. Position yourself on the far side of the flock from the pen and they will drift toward the gate. Flank back and forth to keep the group together.

Why do the sheep keep scattering?

If you crowd the flock too closely they panic and split apart. Back off a little, let them regroup into a tight bunch, then nudge them forward. Patience beats chasing every single sheep.

What do sprint and bark do?

Sprint is a short speed burst to cut off a sheep making a break for it. Bark scatters a knot of stubborn sheep so you can split or reposition them, but barking too often will undo your herd, so save it for when you really need it.

How many levels are in Flock Fold?

There are eight levels that add one new twist at a time, from an open meadow to rocks, stubborn black sheep, two pens at once, a prowling wolf and muddy ground. Each level you clear pushes your score higher.
