About Strafe Run

Strafe Run is PixelDen's pixel art take on the classic low-altitude terrain flight: you pilot a glowing hovercraft skimming across endless rolling canyons, banking hard through ridges and ravines while the ground rushes past just beneath you.
The whole game is a balance between speed and nerve. Fly too high and you waste the run; dive too low and a mesa wall ends it instantly. A gentle assist keeps you hugging the hills so casual pilots can settle into the flow, but the terrain tightens and the throttle climbs the further you push, so every banked turn matters more than the last.
There is no finish line, only distance. Bank left and right to thread the canyon, climb and dive to clear the ridges, and watch the altitude bar so you never clip the dirt. Beat your best run, then go again and fly that little bit lower.

Your score is the distance you fly, measured in metres. There is no finish line, so the further you survive the higher you score. The craft slowly speeds up and the terrain gets tighter the longer you last, which pushes every run a little closer to the edge.

Any tips for flying lower?
Let the altitude assist do the work on open ground and save your dives for clearing ridges, then ease back up. Bank early into turns rather than yanking the craft around, and watch the altitude bar on the right: when it dips into the red you are one bad ridge from a crater.
