Three traps on a 5×5 grid is the cozy, relaxing tier — most tiles are safe, the multiplier climbs slowly, you can clear the vault if you focus. Five traps is the sweet spot: real tension after pick four, big rewards if you push to seven or eight. Ten traps is brutal — half the vault is hot, the multiplier explodes after every safe pick, and the cash-out button starts to feel very, very tempting.
