Build Your Own Pixel Kart Tracks: New Free Track Editor | PixelDen Games

You have raced our tracks. Now you can build your own. The brand new Pixel Kart track editor is live, and it lets you draw a circuit, paint the surface, drop hazards, and then race what you made, all from your browser. No download, no extra apps.

Key Takeaways

  • A free, browser-based track editor for Pixel Kart: draw the racing line, paint asphalt, grass, kerbs and ice, then add gates and decorations.
  • Test your track instantly, save it, and switch to it in the game from the new tabs in the menu.
  • Share your tracks with everyone, race circuits built by other players, and vote for the ones you love.
  • Even without an account you can hop in and race community tracks. Sign in when you want to start building your own.

Design a track, your way

Open the editor from the Pixel Kart page (look for the Editor button next to Play, or the wrench badge on the game card). Start from a clean oval or from a copy of one of our built-in tracks, then make it yours:

  • Draw the racing line point by point and bend it into hairpins, chicanes and long sweepers.
  • Paint the surface: smooth asphalt for speed, grass and dirt to punish mistakes, ice for a real test of nerve, and kerbs to line your corners.
  • Place the start, the finish and the gates so every lap counts.
  • Add decorations: cones, tyre stacks, trees, billboards and ramps to give your circuit some personality.

Pick one of three looks for your world: sunny Sunset, glowing Neon, or frosty Snow. A live check tells you the moment your track is ready to drive, so you always know it will play fair.

Test it, save it, race it

Hit Test run at any time to jump straight onto your track and feel how it drives. Tweak a corner, test again, repeat until it is perfect. When you are happy, save it. Your saved tracks show up in the game under a new My Tracks tab in the menu, right next to the Default tracks. Choose one and race.

You can keep up to three tracks at once, so every slot is a track you really care about. Want to build something new? Edit or clear one to free up space.

Share with the world

Made something you are proud of? Set it to public and it joins the community gallery. From there, anyone can find it, race it, and give it a vote. Browse by most popular, top rated, or newest, and search by name to find a specific circuit.

Best of all, racing other people's tracks is open to everyone. You do not even need an account to drop into the new Community tab in the game and take on the highest rated player-made circuits. When a track gives you a great race, leave it a vote so more racers discover it.

Start building

  1. Open Pixel Kart and sign in.
  2. Tap Editor and pick a blank track or a copy of an existing one.
  3. Draw, paint, decorate, and Test run until it feels right.
