Columns of three gems drift down through a tranquil cherry blossom garden. Rotate them, place them, and align three or more matching colours horizontally, vertically or diagonally to clear them from the board. Simple on the surface. Deceptively deep underneath.

The chain combo system is where Sakura Drop turns from a chill puzzler into a score-attack obsession. When you clear a group, everything above it drops — and if those falling gems land into new matches, the chain continues and the multiplier climbs with it. Setting up a four-chain on purpose means thinking several drops ahead, stacking gems in deliberate patterns like a garden architect planning a waterfall.

The contrast is what makes it work. For the first few minutes it is meditative: petals drifting, gems clicking into place, a column every second. Then a level arrives every ten lines and the drop interval tightens all the way to a fifth of a second, and suddenly you are rotating on instinct while your brain tries to track three cascades at once. Calm and frantic in the same garden.
