About Shadow Heist
Play Shadow Heist online, a free stealth game that runs right in your browser with no download. You are a thief inside a sleeping manor, and every room is a puzzle of light and shadow. Guards patrol with visible cones of sight that stop at walls and pillars, so what they can see is always drawn on the floor in front of you. Stand in a lit area and you will be spotted; stay in darkness and you are invisible, even at arm's length. Lamps and torches can be doused to carve new shadow paths, but chandeliers burn out of reach. Grab the target artifact in each level, pick up side loot if you dare, and reach the exit before the alarm ends your run. Getting caught costs a life and restarts the level, never the whole heist. Score comes from the loot you carry out, the time you save, and clean work: finishing a level without ever being seen earns the Ghost bonus.

How does hiding work?
Visibility is simple and fair: if you stand in a lit area inside a guard's view cone, you are seen. In shadow you are invisible, no matter how close the guard is — unless they bump straight into you. The eye icon always shows your current state.
What happens when I get caught?
A guard who reaches you busts the heist attempt: you lose one of three lives and the current level restarts. Your score from completed levels is safe. Losing all lives ends the run.
How do I get a high score?
Grab every piece of side loot, beat the par time, and stay unseen. A level finished without ever raising suspicion pays the Ghost bonus, and avoiding a full alarm pays the Clean bonus.
