About Ion Rush
Play Ion Rush online, a free futuristic racing game that runs right in your browser with no download. You pilot a low-slung neon hovercraft along glowing tracks suspended in deep space, chasing a perfect lap while four AI rivals fight you for first place. The road dives and crests over rolling hills, snakes through fast sweepers and tight technical esses, and lights up gold where the boost pads are: clip them clean and your craft screams past its normal top speed.
The star of every circuit is the split. As you round the final bend before the fork the track widens and tears in two, and your position on the road decides your fate: drift left for the tight, twisty inside line or stay right for the wide, flowing, hill-jumping route. Both rejoin further on, so the race is won by reading the track, banking into the curves before they pull you wide, and stringing boosts together down the straights.
Steering is all about speed and commitment. The faster you go the wider you swing, and every curve tries to throw you toward the glowing edge rails. Run off the track surface and your craft bogs down and bleeds speed, so smooth lines beat reckless ones. There is no fuel and no laps to waste: three flat-out circuits, a live position counter, a lap timer hunting your best split, and a finish-line photo that decides whether you stand on the top step. Crisp pixel art, a strobing neon skyline and a real sense of speed make every run a rush.
