Sims hand you a small world and leave the running of it to you. Zone a city in Pixelopolis, lay out fields and ditches in Furrowfield, stack floors and lifts in Liftwell, or keep a game studio afloat in Gamedev Stories. Several of them follow the classic sims of the late 80s and 90s.

Questions and answers

Do the sims save my progress?

Pixelopolis and Dungeon Hamlet save your city or town in the browser, and Gamedev Stories and Starlane keep a career you can come back to.

Which sim is the gentlest start?

Harvest Hollow is the shortest: six quick days of farming. Dungeon Hamlet and Gamedev Stories are cozy and explain themselves as you play.

Can I play them on a phone?

Yes, all of them have touch controls, though the city and tower builders are more comfortable on a tablet or a computer.
