Retro Game Remakes

26 games

Each game here starts from a classic arcade, console or PC game and adds its own ideas. Snake, Neon Break and Neon Invasion follow the arcade originals, Edge Claim is a take on Qix and Prismfall on Q*bert, Tumblekin plays like Lemmings, and the sims follow SimCity, SimTower, SimFarm and SimAnt. All of them are PixelDen's own games, not copies.

Questions and answers

Are these the original games?

No. They are new games made for PixelDen that follow the rules of a classic, with new art, new levels and their own twists.

Which classics are covered?

Arcade classics like Snake, Breakout, Space Invaders, Columns, Qix, Pang and Q*bert, a Frogger style hopper, Lemmings, Bomberman, Rampart and Elite, and the PC sims SimCity, SimTower, SimFarm and SimAnt.

Do they play the same as the originals?

The core rules do, so you know what to do from the first second. Then each adds something: run modes and worlds in Snake, power-ups and a boss ship in Neon Invasion, a two player mode in Fuseheads.
